A young entrepreneur says picking up a copy of Small Business Connect in February helped her to register her marketing business in March this year. Thokozile Makwala is the owner of Marketing Solutions Firm.
The 19-year old entrepreneur runs the business from her Sandton home, where she supplies marketing consultancy and advertising services.
“The newspaper introduced me to agencies such as the Small Enterprise Finance Agency and the National Youth Development Agency,” she says. Makwala is also a listener on Small Business Connect’s online radio which was launched in August.
